Hello, friends!

We have a new family member! Max decided he was ready to join us last Sunday, July 15! We were scheduled for the c-section on August 2, so you can tell he was eager.

Very quickly I went from this:

At the baby shower, July 6, 34 weeks pregnant

to this:

Maxwell Andrew, 7 lbs, 7 oz., 20 inches long. July 15, 2012 (36 weeks, 4 days gestation)

And our family started to look like this:

The obligatory hospital photo... just look at everyone but me.  They make me look good!

I went into more details about the delivery on StealingFaith (And then there were four...). For those of you who have been around for our other births, you know my biggest fear was trouble with the spinal. It has turned into a bit of a phobia, with Mia it took 5 pricks to get it, Maggie took 3, and Mikayla was just 1. I was absolutely petrified that the spinal would be awful... and my anesthesiologist was able to administer it with just one prick! Hallelujah!

While Izzy and I slept at the hospital and watched over our littlest baby Isaiah's mom kept the girls at home. They had some fun, too, as you can see the trampoline and static electricity never gets old:

These two have become partners in crime. They look innocent - don't be fooled!

Mia was able to go to horse camp thanks to Mima driving her to and fro while we were in the hospital - it was a dream come true! She is definitely "horse crazy"!

Mia was the leader of her class at horse camp. She fell head over heels in love with her horse, Barbie.

Max has been doing great, even though he was premature. I am also healing well from the c-section, just taking every opportunity to put my feet up and relax!

They finally got sick of us at the hospital and sent us home:

And now we are convalescing, working on a house remodel, and enjoying time spent with family.
