This was a big day! I had no idea how much like Q-Tips they would look with their big bike helmets and their skinny little bodies attached.
Mia was doing great on her bike until a college students she likes to call Elmo came by. He stopped to talk with her and suddenly she completely lost her ability to ride the bike. Elmo was kind enough to dote on her for quite awhile, helping her with the bike riding, while she looked up and batted her eyelashes and flashed the dimple. It was a frightening precursor of her teenage years.
Maggie, well, I wasn't really surprised but that girl picked up on the bike riding so fast and is a MAJOR daredevil!
We thought that she was going to bike straight into the lake and Isaiah risked his body several times by jumping in front of her as she veered off the sidewalk toward the cold water. When it was all said and done we had fun, no one was dumped in the lake, and Mikayla spent her time eating grass and practicing walking.
Who could ask for more?!

On the next circuit after this one Maggie took Isaiah out. She's not to keen on the braking yet, but it will come.
